These sessions are for those who consider themselves to be new to the method or want to deepen their understanding of Pilates. Putting a greater emphasis on the fundamental concepts in Pilates such as core activation, alignment of the pelvis and spine, breathing, coordination and balance to lay a good foundation for progression. Our aim will be to generate body awareness while utilizing the whole body to work on a full range of motion. Do not let the ‘beginner level’ fool you. In Pilates, the easy does not mean that it is not ‘challenging’. There is always room for exploration no matter what level you are at. I strongly advocate an active listening for full body awareness.
